<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Seeking a Financial Controller to oversee all accounting and financial matters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and performance, while supporting operational leaders in achieving objectives. The Controller will analyze financial data, prepare reports, oversee audits, and provide strategic recommendations to drive profitability and operational excellence.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage all accounting, financial functions and ERP system (Acumatica). </li><li>Examine and verify unit financial records, ensuring accuracy of recorded transactions. </li><li>Analyze and interpret budgeting trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. </li><li>Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely results. </li><li>Support the planning and execution of annual budgets and project-specific budgets. </li><li>Conduct unit audits and assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans. </li><li>Oversee annual external audit process </li><li>Generate special reports, respond to data requests, and prepare documentation for management. </li><li>Provide training on internal controls, accounting procedures, contract interpretation, and system applications to accountants and field staff. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. </li><li>Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing practices. </li><li>Experience with financial systems, internal controls, and contract interpretation. </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) </li><li>Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, modeling) </li><li>Strong Accuracy and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>CPA </li><li>MBA </li><li>Big 4 experience </li></ul>
