<p>Overview:</p> <p>The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified applicants for Substitute Paraprofessional position Classroom/Special Education Aides.</p> <p>These substitute positions are on an as-needed basis and hours can range per day.</p> <p>Pay Rate:</p> <p>$16.50 per hour</p> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit, with ESEA endorsement issued by ODE or willing to complete the process to obtain this credential prior to starting </li><li>High school diploma/GED equivalency, college level training preferred </li><li>Knowledge of and experience with assistive technology preferred </li><li>Ability to communicate well with others both orally and in written communication </li><li>Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed </li><li>Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers </li><li>Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic </li><li>Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations </li><li>Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations </li></ul> <p>If qualified and interested, complete the on-line application.</p>
