This unique position blends marketing, community outreach, and event coordination - perfect for someone who loves working with people and promoting something they believe in.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <p>Catering Sales & Event Representative</p> <ul> <li>Drive catering sales by building relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, and organizations </li><li>Handle all incoming catering leads and follow through to close the sale </li><li>Coordinate and confirm details for each event, working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams </li><li>Ensure high standards of service for both in-store and off-site catering orders </li><li>Follow up with clients for feedback and repeat business </li></ul> <p>Social Media & Brand Promotion</p> <ul> <li>Manage our restaurant's social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) with daily or weekly content </li><li>Create fun, engaging posts about menu items, special events, and customer experiences </li><li>Promote catering services, holiday buffets, and limited-time offers </li><li>Respond promptly to comments, DMs, and customer questions </li><li>Take photos/videos of in-store activity and food - bonus points if you love Reels or TikTok! </li></ul> <p>Community Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Attend networking events, community fairs, or business mixers to promote our catering </li><li>Build local partnerships with schools, teams, nonprofits, and influencers </li><li>Represent Golden Corral with professionalism and pride at every event </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in restaurant marketing, catering sales, or hospitality preferred </li><li>Friendly and professional communication skills - in person and online </li><li>Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and projects </li><li>Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok </li><li>Basic photo/video editing or Canva skills a big plus </li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings </li></ul>
