<p>Apply NowBack to All Jobs</p> <p>Job Posted: Dec 10, 2025 Job Location:GP:50 Grand Island New York Job Department: Job Level: Entry Level Shift:1st Shift > Annual Salary:$18-$20 Per Hour Position Type:Full Time Travel:0</p> <p>Job Position: Aerospace Bonding and Wiring Technician</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>GP-50 Aerospace Bonding and Wiring Technicians perform varied electromechanical tasks, operate specialized testing equipment, and are required to have strong soldering skills in accordance with IPC-J-STD-001. Technicians will work from drawings, written instructions, parts lists, and other resources to include Engineering and Management to complete all assigned tasks. All GP-50 employees are encouraged to positively contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of pride, respect, integrity, development, and engagement.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Obtain and maintain IPC-J-STD-001 certifications</p> <p>Ability to utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) techniques for all assigned tasks.</p> <p>Perform manufacturing processes independently on complex and routine assigned tasks while following company policies and written instruction.</p> <p>Ensure all written instructions, calibrated equipment, and material with expiration dates are up to date prior to use and raise any concerns about quality or safety to management and engineering for review.</p> <p>Able to perform component testing using high pressure test equipment and document results on data sheets or record in an electronic collection system.</p> <p>Collaborate with all technicians and engineering to identify improvement opportunities resulting in a decrease of lead times, cost savings, waste elimination, or increased quality control.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Completed High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>1 year of soldering experience or completion of a vocational technology certification program</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology</p> <p>Assembly, Test or Soldering experience in a manufacturing environment</p> <p>Electronics assembly and inspection experience (Certified in J-STD-001)</p> <p>Understanding of electrical testing equipment (power supplies, multi-meters, thermal chambers, and data acquisition systems)</p> <p>EOE/AA Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity</p> <p>Apply for this Position</p> <p>Apply Now</p>
