<p>Project Manager</p> <p>Since our founding in 1995, Giacalone Design Services, Inc. has evolved into one of the premier Dry Utility Design firms on the West Coast. Giacalone Design, takes pride in providing a wide range of joint trench and lighting design services on projects ranging from small single lot services to large multi-family, mixed-use or apartment projects and everything in between. We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time experienced Project Manager. This position would ideally be located in our Rancho Cordova or Pleasanton offices working on projects in the Bay Area and Sacramento. This is a fast paced position working with multiple developers (big and small) in Northern California.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Design and coordinate dry utility systems for Residential, Multifamily and commercial developments.</p> <p>Lead a team to design Intents, Composites, Electric, Gas and Street Lighting Designs for utility approval through to construction.</p> <p>Design technical drawings in compliance with PG&E or applicable utility company.</p> <p>Coordinate with all utility providers for Composite Design - PG&E, SMUD, SVP, Cable and Telecom.</p> <p>Ability to read civil, landscape, architectural plans for use of Joint Trench Design.</p> <p>Ability to read and utilize maps from utility companies for design.</p> <p>Collaborate well with all members of design team (client, civil, architect, landscape and utility companies) and be available for meetings/site visits.</p> <p>Manage calendar, meetings, billings and movement of projects between internal departments with efficiency.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Experience in the coordination/design of Dry Utility Design plans in California.</p> <p>Working experience with PG&E and a strong proficiency in understanding PG&E standards/Greenbook.</p> <p>Proficiency in AutoCAD.</p> <p>Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.</p> <p>Working knowledge of Excel, Adobe, Blue Beam, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.</p> <p>Must have an understanding of underground construction.</p> <p>Strong problem solving skills and ability to take a proactive approach on designs and coordination.</p> <p>Attention to detail a must.</p> <p>Comprehensive Benefits Package</p> <p>Medical</p> <p>Dental</p> <p>Vision</p> <p>Life and Disability Insurance</p> <p>401(k)</p> <p>Profit Sharing</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $165000.00/yr.</p> <p>employer 401K match, room for growth and family atmosphere and growing company with good PG&E contracts</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Pleasanton,CA.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on May 28, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
