<p>Kforce is immediately seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Developer to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Tableau solutions. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure data visualization solutions meet business needs and contribute to overall system quality and consistency.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs, with a focus on Tableau-based solutions </li><li>Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents </li><li>Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents, providing constructive feedback </li><li>Collaborate effectively with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency across all projects </li><li>Participate actively in architecture, design, and code reviews to maintain high standards </li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive operational and system-level documentation </li><li>Follow the company's software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field </li><li>5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data visualization and Tableau development; Tableau expertise is required </li><li>Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) </li><li>Experience in designing, developing, and testing data visualization solutions </li><li>Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical and system documentation </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment </li><li>Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs and implemented solutions </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with (specific databases, e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake) </li><li>Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes </li><li>Familiarity with (other BI tools, e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus </li><li>Experience with (specific programming languages, e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation or scripting </li></ul>
