The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for performing general accounting and bookkeeping activities including invoice processing, account reconciliation, database maintenance and monthly/quarterly report preparation, as well as general office duties and other assignments as needed. The Accounting Coordinator will serve as the main contact for external vendors and customers for all communications related to financial transactions.</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>% of Time</p> <p>General Accounting & Bookkeeping</p> <ul> <li>Input invoices, audit invoices, manage check disbursement and perform procedures related to proper vendor payments, including reconciling vendor invoices to customer invoices (PO's) </li><li>Apply checks to invoices in MOM, process re-invoices when needed and obtain necessary information to assist in resolving problem orders in MOM </li><li>Process and monitor credit applications for vendors and customers, maintain updated W-9 forms </li><li>Process RMA's for customer refunds </li><li>Maintain accurate and updated vendor information in database </li><li>Reconcile credit card statements daily/monthly and checking accounts monthly </li><li>File and process payment for monthly sales tax </li><li>Prepare quarterly tax reports for accountant </li><li>Prepare ball and customer reports for Director of Sales and Director of Operations, as needed </li><li>Maintain history and records for ball licensing agencies including license payments and royalties </li><li>File vendor invoices, employee information and quarterly reports </li><li>Act as the main liaison with DICK'S Sporting Goods accounting/finance teams for reporting, cash flow, sales tax and in-kind reconciliation </li><li>Serve as the primary contact for all Accounts Payable functions </li></ul> <p>60%</p> <p>Inventory Tracking & Catalog</p> <ul> <li>Enter inventory and maintain accurate database as needed </li><li>Input Logo Ball data and track related shipments as needed </li><li>Monitor overseas shipments and act as liaison for shipping forwarder </li><li>Input catalog items and monitor back orders as needed </li><li>Compile address list for catalogs </li><li>Prepare and administer catalog billings to vendors </li><li>Track and maintain booking orders </li><li>Coordinate with the Merchandising team to ensure vendors are invoicing at the correct costs and/or the Merchandising team is maintaining costs in MOM </li></ul> <p>20%</p> <p>Perform office administration duties including mail collection and distribution, purchase of office and warehouse supplies, communicate newsletter, answer phones, and coordinate show & convention logistics.</p> <p>20%</p> <p>TOTAL</p> <p>100%</p> <p>Education Requirement (Select level necessary for role success)</p> <p>Level of Education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>List Degree Type</p> <p>Business, Accounting, Finance</p> <p>Experience Requirement (Select level necessary for role success)</p> <p>Level of Experience</p> <p>1 - 3 Years</p> <p>List Specific Areas of Experience (if applicable)</p> <p>Professional License and/or Specialized Training (List requirements if applicable)</p> <p>Technological Requirements (Select the required program's necessary for role success)</p> <p>?
