<p>DEPARTMENT: TSLOTS</p> <p>JOB TITLE: Designer</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Department Manager</p> <p>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.</p> <p>WAGE: $18 - $22/hr.</p> <p>Bonnell Aluminum is searching for an individual to join our TSLOTS Design team.</p> <p>What You'll Be Responsible For:</p> <ul> <li>Add incoming RFQs to the queue and set clear expectations with customers. </li><li>Communicate with customers via phone and email. </li><li>Delegate requests to inside sales based on the nature of the request. </li><li>Critically analyze drawings or 3D models and communicate any necessary changes to the customer. </li><li>Create models and drawings in SolidWorks for customers based on basic sketches or descriptions. </li><li>Determine the feasibility of customer requests. Anticipate any challenges and work with production to overcome them. </li><li>Obtain pricing for non-standard items and determine list price. </li><li>Complete New Item# Request forms. </li><li>Generate quotes based on customer requests. </li><li>Create and maintain quote folders. </li><li>Communicate with production and purchasing to deliver accurate lead times to customers. </li><li>Create machining and assembly drawings based on input from production in the print tracker. </li><li>Communicate the customer's needs to production staff through explicit instruction, drawings, and 3d models. </li><li>Inspect assemblies for dimensional accuracy and overall quality prior to shipment. </li><li>Conversational CNC programming </li><li>Act upon customer complaints through the creation of quotes for replacement parts and quote revisions. </li><li>Review customer complaints and close the loop with notes and action. </li><li>Develop/design jigs and tooling for production processes. </li><li>Support production with waste stoppers, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Support marketing by assisting in new product development and the creation of technical drawings. </li><li>Support RSMs by participating in customer calls and visits. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment/Physical Demands/Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of Manufacturing experience. </li><li>Strong understanding of TSLOTS processes and values preferred. </li><li>Interpersonal skills - ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels. </li><li>Ability to communicate complex concepts to any audience. </li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft office products </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED preferred </li><li>Pass company background check and drug screen </li></ul> <p>What You'll Love About Us:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Life Insurance </li><li>Matched 401k </li><li>Paid Vacation </li></ul>
