<p>Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire Cardio Rehab RN for our location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.</p> <p>Key Perks and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Generous 401k match on day one </li><li>On site employee fitness center </li></ul> <p>Employment Status: PRN</p> <p>Hours: Varies</p> <p>Shift: 1st shift</p> <p>Position Reports to: Director of Cardiovascular Services/Cardio Rehab</p> <p>Job Summary: Implements the pulmonary and cardiac regimen and assists with pulmonary and cardiac patient support.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with the orientation of new participants and development of plan of care. </li><li>Supervises exercise sessions, monitors patients and assesses patient before, during, and after exercise. </li><li>Assists in data collection for exercise prescription as needed. </li><li>Instructs in breathing exercises and muscle strengthening to facilitate the exercise program for those patients with chronic pulmonary disease and post MI or surgery cases. </li><li>Documents respiratory and cardiac components of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation protocol. </li><li>Recommends appropriate nursing and pulmonary intervention and need for further treatment or referral in patients' respiratory care. </li><li>Initiates referrals for home pulmonary equipment and services. </li><li>Attends Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation team conferences to report patient progress and advise team of future plan. </li><li>Assists physicians with cardiac tilt testing and dobutamine stress tests. </li><li>Cleans and maintains equipment on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as assigned or required.
