<p>Short & Sweet: This position requires responsibility for the proper brine flow through the system by maintaining and cleaning brine filters and monitoring the brine conveyor, Cooper cutters and take-out conveyors. Will need to be able to float between 1st and 2nd shift.</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Day Shift, 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM</p> <p>12 Hour Shift Rotation, (223) 2 on, 2 off, 3 on etc.</p> <ul> <li>Weekends & Holiday's Included </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Check filter pressure using HMI touch screens </li><li>Change and clean brine filters and socks when filter pressure indicates necessary </li><li>Monitor temperature, belt speed, flow rate, and brine salinity </li><li>Enter information on scrap/butterfat log </li><li>Maintain brine filter sock washing station </li><li>Test salinity using the Brine Hydrometer </li><li>Obtain samples to test brine pH </li><li>Pull blocks of ribbon cheese and take center temperature in Processing Department </li><li>Visually check for leaks and place grey tubs in position to catch drips </li><li>Operate salt slurry system as needed </li><li>Install squeegees at endpoint of brine tank </li><li>Inspect red totes for trays and use blow torch to melt down </li><li>Position red barrels and tubs around equipment in preparation for shut down </li><li>Transport animal feed to warehouse </li><li>Monitor cleanliness of mixer and brine tank area </li><li>Hose down and spray foam on equipment and floor as needed </li><li>Assist with product code changeovers </li><li>Assist operators as needed </li><li>Additional duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently in writing and verbally </li><li>Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with high degree of accuracy </li><li>Ability to work first and second shift </li><li>Must be able to lift 30lbs from floor to overhead lift (0" - 72") </li><li>Must be able to climb stairs, inclined ladders, and vertical ladders hourly </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age </li><li>Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation </li></ul> <p>Leprino uses Psychemedics for a 90-day hair follicle drug test as part of the employee pre-employment process and also participates in E-Verify.
