<p>Overview:</p> <p>This position is located at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented senior accountant with the ability to thrive in our fast paced, growing organization. This individual must be able to identify and resolve problems both independently and as a part of a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization along with strong organizational and time management ability are also required.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or relevant accounting experience; CPA preferred </li><li>Minimum of 5 year of relevant experience; Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with CPA/Masters degree. </li><li>Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). </li><li>Must be a self-starter and a quick learner who can work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. </li><li>Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel; JD Edwards skills desirable. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Detail-oriented with effective verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management ability. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity. </li><li>Manufacturing or construction and inventory accounting experience a plus. </li><li>Ability to travel on occasion (<5%). </li></ul>
