He or she identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions to optimize the business processes and workflow; thereby participating in the achievement of the company's goals and the satisfaction of our clients.</p> <p>Your Day with Equisoft:</p> <ol> <li>Project Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Own the end-to-end execution of software delivery projects, from planning and estimation through deployment and support.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk logs, adapting to changing priorities and technical challenges.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate daily team stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review sessions to ensure alignment and progress.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the central point of coordination for development, QA, and BA teams across project lifecycles.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure quality and timely delivery through structured execution, proactive issue resolution, and regular status reporting.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Client Relationship Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Act as the primary contact for client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Translate business goals into actionable plans and communicate progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Build trust-based relationships through transparency, consistent delivery, and proactive communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead regular project check-ins, demos, and retrospectives with clients to align on priorities and solicit feedback.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Project Improvement and Innovation </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Champion a culture of continuous improvement within delivery teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and implement opportunities to improve team velocity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput) to identify bottlenecks and drive performance enhancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate team retrospectives and turn insights into concrete action items for process or tooling improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage experimentation and innovation to elevate both the client experience and internal delivery practices.</p> </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Financial Management </li></ol> <ul> <li> <p>Create and manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation and forecasting align with financial goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Track actuals against budget and provide regular updates on burn rate and financial health to leadership and clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to scoping and proposal development for new or expanding projects by providing estimations and risk assessments.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive scope management, change control processes, and contract adherence in collaboration with client success and sales teams.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Technical</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>2-5 years of experience of IT or finance project management</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Project Development Cycle Management</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in client-facing project</p> </li><li> <p>Experience implementing Enterprise level software</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries (asset)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of the Agile methodology</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written skills in English</p> </li><li> <p>Available for occasional travel</p> </li></ul> <p>Soft skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong sense of organization and prioritizing</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment</p> </li><li> <p>Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice to Haves</p> <ul> <li> <p>Project Management Certification (CAPM, PMP, SAFe, etc)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Scrum, Agile and/or SAFe</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working for a Professional Services organization</p> </li><li> <p>Experience as a Scrum Master</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced Financial Modeling and Prediction skills</p> </li><li> <p>Insurance experience (preferably in Life/Annuities)</p> </li></ul> <p>Equisoft is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
