We serve a diverse learning community by providing a supportive environment that fosters care, collaboration, positivity, and accountability.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team and support students' developmental and educational needs. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to students with disabilities or developmental delays, helping them achieve success in the classroom and beyond. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and a passion for improving student outcomes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assess students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills to support educational goals. </li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy into the learning environment. </li><li>Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. </li><li>Educate school staff and parents on strategies to improve students' functional skills in the classroom. </li><li>Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in school-based occupational therapy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. </li><li>Licensure: Current Ohio Occupational Therapy License required. </li><li>Certification: Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years working with school-aged children preferred. </li><li>Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to adapt interventions to a diverse student population. </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Part-Time: Flexible scheduling during school hours. </li><li>Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience. </li></ul>
