On-Call is Saturday and Sunday from 7am - 5pm.</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: Nuclear Medicine Technologist</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Performs imaging procedures. Provides patient services using imaging modalities.</p> <p>EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:</p> <p>Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school and meets requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, and/or New York State Department of Health License.</p> <p>Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.</p> <p>SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:</p> <p>Clinical Setting - Exposure Class I - routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>Heavy work - continual and repetitive motions, including but not limited to heavy lifting, bending, stooping and twisting, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, prolonged walking and standing.</p> <p>WORK CONTACT GROUP:</p> <p>All services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors and various regulatory and professional agencies.</p> <p>SUPERVISED BY:</p> <p>Clinical Coordinator</p> <p>CAREER PATH:</p> <p>Clinical Coordinator</p> <p>Pay Range: $41.25 - $59.20</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
