<p>Purpose: This position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church.</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to provide front-line supervision for employees and to coordinate the activities of the division. This position determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. They issue written and oral instructions regarding division operations and machine functions and procedures. The supervisor oversees 10-25 employees, assigns their duties and examines the work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to established policies and procedures. Ensures that the employees, equipment and machinery are used efficiently and effectively. Involved in disciplinary actions with employees and interviews with candidates for employment positions and advancement into other positions within the division. The supervisor reports to their respective manager.</p> <ul> <li> <p>65%</p> </li><li> <p>65% Supervise, organize, and lead associates in the warehouse areas of the Printing Division. Supervise and maintain an efficient workflow in the warehouse areas (shipping receiving, production WIP). Review and approve daily time registrations of warehouse associates' Schedules employee work load and ensures assigned functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure inventory levels are updated and reconciled monthly. Leads cycle count team and validates off-site warehouse inventory levels.</p> </li><li> <p>15%</p> </li><li> <p>Attend various production, planning, ESS, leadership meetings and others.</p> </li><li> <p>10%</p> </li><li> <p>Write and manage SOP's for warehouse area and submits work orders as needed for equipment repair (Doors, lift's, etc.). Close out all received outside vendor jobs in D365 using RAF procedure.</p> </li><li> <p>5%</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in ordering supplies and parts for machinery/lifts in the warehouse area.</p> </li><li> <p>5%</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting with scheduling team and production supervisors when problems or conflicts occur.</p> </li><li> <p>5 years of experience in a warehouse operation and/or a combination of education with a business background. Experience should be as an operator or a supervisor in a warehouse environment. Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift or similar machinery.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred 2 years' experience in a printing facility environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred, one or more of the following: Certified Logistics Associates (CLA), Certified Logistics Technician (CLT), Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or OSHA Safety Certification.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient computer skills in Microsoft D365, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Power BI.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow through with projects and assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in problem solving</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to connect with colleagues across different departments and levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates openness to change and willingness to adjust approach based on feedback and new information.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to regularly seek feedback from peers and supervisors to identify areas for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Professionally present new ideas for change and continuous improvement of the warehouse area.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to take initiative and take ownership of your tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to lead associates with a focus of continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Superior oral and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>English proficiency required.</p> </li></ul>
