<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Environmental Process and Documentation Chief performs highly responsible administrative and managerial work involving the development, implementation and evaluation of important programs, policies, budget initiatives and organizational changes affecting the Department's transportation engineering programs. This position is responsible for coordinating activities and communicating effectively with numerous and diverse constituencies, including the legislature, the public, local units of government, contractors and industry representatives, the media, other state agencies, federal regulatory agencies, other WisDOT managers and FHWA. These program interrelationships are extremely diverse and complex. A 2 year career executive trial period is required.
