With us, you'll stay empowered to do your best work by creating astounding possibilities for local communities and beyond.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Astound is currently searching for a Trainer and Curriculum Consultant, focusing on Sales Training, to develop and promote the tenets of our mission statement in our sales organizations. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, the Sales Trainer will identify opportunities around B2B and door-to-door residential sales, sales techniques, leveraging our products, etc., and implementing training solutions to address these areas utilizing a variety of delivery methods (i.e. face-to-face, e-learning, webinars, etc.). In this role, you will become the go-to person for sales training for our Enterprise, SMB, Large Accounts and residential sales, while also supporting national compliance and DE&I initiatives.</p> <p>If your strengths include diagnosing team/organization opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to develop a resolution, and implementing the plan from start to finish, then this is the role for you!</p> <p>A Day in the Life of the Trainer and Curriculum Consultant:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and develop targeted training </li><li>Produce, facilitate and implement sales training and sales training programs, including but not limited to sales skills, coaching, classroom training, mentorship, etc. </li><li>Select the most appropriate training strategies by leveraging a variety of learning platforms, e.g., virtual, classroom, e-learning, etc. </li><li>Design, develop and deliver business solutions and residential sales training, track KPIs, metrics and other deliverables </li><li>Create E-learning courses for delivery through the Learning Management System </li><li>Coach market sales leaders on course development, success tracking, skills gaps, etc. </li><li>Application of adult learning theory and instructional design processes (ADDIE) </li><li>Maintain class documentation, including registration, evaluations, and feedback via LMS </li><li>Position will have up to 30% travel to our local field markets to provide training </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Learning and Development </li></ul> <p>What You Bring to the Table:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of sales training experience (B2B preferred); door-to-door sales and telecom experience a plus </li><li>Excellent written and oral communications skills </li><li>Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization </li><li>Excellent presentation, project management, and organizational skills </li><li>ATD Training Certificate a plus </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, and Learning Management Systems (Élan a plus) </li><li>Abillity to travel up to 30% to our local field markets across the nation to provide training </li></ul> <p>Education and Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>We're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including:</p> <ul> <li>401k retirement plan, with employer match </li><li>Insurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization </li><li>Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year </li><li>Paid Holidays: 7 days per year </li><li>Paid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws </li><li>Tuition reimbursement program </li><li>Employee discount program </li><li>Benefits listed above are for regular full-time positions </li></ul> <p>The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - 95,000, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
