<p>Description</p> <p>ProAmpac is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Shipping area.</p> <p>In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps warehouse organized by moving products to assigned areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Delivers LTL material to appropriate place within 24 hours of receiving.</p> </li><li> <p>Delivers small parcel packages to appropriate locations</p> </li><li> <p>Unloads assigned inbound loads.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifies correct quantity/product/size is received.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows structured receiving process (labeling, weighing, inspecting for damage).</p> </li><li> <p>Scans and moves rolls to appropriate location in warehouse.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in processing of resin poly railcars and monitors resin to ensure the pumping velocity is accurate.</p> </li><li> <p>Picks, stages, and scans orders for shipments.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that items are picked in order they are scheduled to be shipped.</p> </li><li> <p>Loads items on truck.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains organized warehouse.</p> </li><li> <p>Loads and completed load documents for scrap disposal.</p> </li><li> <p>Contacts supervisor if order is not complete or not scanning correctly.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co workers, customers, and suppliers.</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills, qualifications, and abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school or equivalent (GED) education</p> </li><li> <p>One or two years related experience and/or training</p> </li><li> <p>At least one year of previous forklift experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license required</p> </li></ul> <p>Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour staggered first shift</p> <p>ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company with comprehensive product offerings.
