Our people are Shaping Industry from the Inside.</p> <p>About the Job</p> <p>The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the design, development, delivery and monitoring of on-the-job training and qualification systems for hourly operations personnel. A commitment to the continuous improvement and continued maturation of developed qualification/training systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conform to all required safety guidelines. </li><li>Assist with the development and design of effective on-the-job training plans. </li><li>Develop process/machine employee qualification documentation that has safety, environmental, critical-to-quality, and productivity considerations. </li><li>Map out value added training plan requirements with the support of leadership to validate employee knowledge and skill levels to perform foundational elements of a job. </li><li>Identify and utilize best practices to further standardize methods and tasks in all processes. </li><li>Create appropriate level of training/qualification documentation. </li><li>Create & along with supervision maintain required individual training records. </li><li>Support new and existing production associates to perform required duties through identified training. </li><li>Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for OTJ trainers. </li><li>Facilitate external training support for hourly teams. </li><li>Integrate ERP/MES transactions into training where key to success. </li><li>Integrate Manufacturing Excellence (ME) into training where applicable. </li><li>Off-shift availability to support all personnel. </li><li>Provide meaningful feedback to hourly and manager personnel regarding training opportunities and performance. </li><li>Performs other duties, as assigned by manager. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; Bachelors or Associates in Science preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing environment </li><li>Proven work experience with organizing or coordinating training of work. </li><li>Understanding of traditional and modern job training methods and techniques </li><li>Strong communication skills (written and verbal) </li><li>Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Flexible work schedule (24/7 operation) </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates will have strengths in the following:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross-functional work groups. </li><li>Excellent listening skills </li><li>Self-starter, must manage time effectively, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks. </li><li>High attention to detail </li><li>Capable of promoting process improvement </li><li>Reliable </li><li>Ownership of training effectiveness </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>As a valued Trelleborg team member, you will enjoy:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary </li><li>Generous benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, 401k </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>A rewarding career with greater opportunity for impact </li></ul> <p>Trelleborg is an equal opportunity employer!
