This digital marketing solution aligns advertising messaging with appropriate content and consumer intent. We partner with brands and agencies to create custom campaigns that outperform others. Instead of targeting who people are, we focus on the reasons behind their interests.</p> <p>We're seeking an experienced Sales Director with a background in selling digital media (Display, OLV, CTV/OTT, Audio) directly and programmatically (managed and self-service) to agencies and clients.</p> <p>You use a consultative approach to selling and enjoy traveling to meet clients (hosting dinners and face-to-face meetings are expected). You learn more by listening than talking and thrive in a dynamic environment. You're passionate about AI and evolving ad tech. You want to be part of a growing organization where your voice is heard and you can be part of a competitive team that loves to win!</p> <p>Base Salary Range: $125k-$140k, with uncapped commissions. Salary is based on skills, experience, internal equity, degree, and market demand.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed annual revenue quota in your assigned territory. </li><li>Focus on developing new business with a hunter mentality, leveraging your network, active prospecting, responding to inbound leads, and attending trade shows and conferences. </li><li>Pursue new opportunities by responding to RFIs and RFPs. </li><li>Review campaign results and insights with your Client Success Manager to ensure KPIs are met and communicated effectively to clients. </li><li>Develop and deliver customized presentations both in person and remotely. </li><li>Use tools like LinkedIn and MediaRadar to qualify, contact, and close prospects. </li><li>Stay updated on technology in AI, programmatic, media, and digital spaces to engage with decision-makers in various verticals. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments on product launches and process improvements. </li><li>Attend weekly team meetings and 1:1s to discuss challenges, opportunities, and ideas. </li><li>Use Salesforce for account correspondence, forecasting, pipeline management, etc. </li><li>Attend conferences and events for networking and educational purposes. </li><li>Travel at least 30% of the time. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently. </li><li>Enjoy being part of a team and learning from peers. </li><li>Expert communication skills - written, verbal, and in-person. </li><li>Comfortable customizing presentation decks and proposals using PPT and Excel. </li><li>Strong analytical skills: able to decipher data and summarize key points. </li><li>Curious, with a no-excuses and positive attitude. </li><li>Familiar with Salesforce or other CRM software. </li><li>Understand the difference between cold calling and warm prospecting, applying different sales techniques. </li><li>Have client and/or agency relationships that can be leveraged immediately. </li><li>Skilled at developing long-term client relationships/partnerships. </li><li>Understand how the digital marketing ecosystem works across channels, especially programmatic media. </li></ul> <p>Candidate Considerations:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7+ years of sales experience OR 10+ years of sales experience in digital advertising (ad tech or media) in lieu of a degree. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Open Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays</p> <p>Competitive Health Benefits: medical, dental, vision, and various voluntary benefits</p> <p>401(k) Matching</p> <p>Tuition Assistance</p> <p>Paid Parental Leave</p> <p>Remote Working Opportunities</p> <p>Continued Education & Training</p> <p>Inuvo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks to foster community, inclusion, and diversity within the organization.
