This position provides front-line assistance by greeting guests, guiding them to the appropriate departments, and helping with required paperwork to ensure an efficient visit.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities & Skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering information on services and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep patients and families informed about wait times, provider availability, and any delays.</p> </li><li> <p>Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Offer guidance on charges, payment processes, and insurance procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.</p> </li><li> <p>Answer and route incoming calls, providing basic information as appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all interactions and data handling follow confidentiality and UPH standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why UnityPoint Health - Meriter?</p> <p>At UnityPoint Health, you matter.
