Drive accountability through data; establish structure and consistency throughout the organization by developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality and continuous improvement operating system. Transform from traditional quality practices to a proactive integrated quality approach.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure standard operating procedures are sustained in the assembly processes. </li><li>Ensure assembly operations conform to general and mandatory specifications. </li><li>Manage the implementation of new processes and procedures with regard to the introduction of new products or equipment. </li><li>Coordinate with other plants to develop and implement standard operating procedures for all assembly and quality processes. </li><li>Develop and implement improved standard procedures through the lean process and tools; document so improved process can become organization standard. </li><li>Ensure equipment is capable of meeting required product quality standards and can repeatedly reproduce these results. </li><li>Ensure that the proper training of all pertinent personnel on standard operating procedures is performed. </li><li>Train supervision on newly introduced assembly procedures in the general specifications. </li><li>Train associates in standard inspection procedures and process audit techniques. </li><li>Coordinate training activities with other Manufacturing Quality Engineers. </li><li>Validate accurate work-in-process and finished goods defect tracking. </li><li>Validate accurate returned goods and rejected piece defect tracking. </li><li>Perform periodic audit of finished products. </li><li>Perform periodic audit of work-in-process records. </li><li>Audit of adherence to bills of material. </li><li>Recommendation of corrective actions to plant management. </li><li>Statistical analysis of collected data, tracking defect back to process, cell, material or individual. </li><li>Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action. </li></ul>
