Encompassing both a day school and a center for educating parents and professionals, Springer is a caring, fast-paced workplace located in Cincinnati's Hyde Park neighborhood.</p> <p>High School Teachers at Springer are dedicated to fostering the academic and personal growth of our students. In classrooms typically composed of 14 or fewer students, teachers lead both whole-class and small-group instruction. They are responsible for planning, delivering, and differentiating daily lessons to meet diverse learning needs. Collaboration is central to this role-teachers work closely with team members, therapists, support staff, and school leadership to make student-centered decisions that promote success.</p> <p>Job Objectives</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, differentiated instruction.</p> </li><li> <p>Gain a deep understanding of each student's unique strengths and areas for growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student learning.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute positively to the culture and wellbeing of the Springer community.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education </li><li>?Current Intervention Specialist teaching license. </li><li>?A minimum of three years' experience teaching students with learning disabilities. </li><li>?Proven expertise in executive functioning in adolescents and teens </li><li>?Proficiency in integrating educational technology into classroom instruction. </li></ul> <p>Key Attributes</p> <p>Smart, reliable, personable, motivated, and tech-savvy.</p> <p>Terms of Employment</p> <p>Full-time, 10-month position aligned with the academic school year.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Qualified applicants should email a resume, cover letter and employment application (found on the Springer employment page) to Tara Willig (twillig@springer-ld.org).
