<p>Your Pet's Wellness (Bucktown) -Client Service Representative</p> <p>Chicago, IL</p> <p>Part-time</p> <p>Availability: flexible</p> <p>Weekdays from 8a-3p or 12:00p-5:15p</p> <p>and Saturdays (3 out of 4 is required) from 8:30a-3:15p</p> <p>Compensation: $16-19/hr--DOE</p> <p>The Veterinary Receptionist is a highly motivated person who loves animals and wants to work closely with them and their owners. They are responsible for providing high quality customer service and support to clients of a veterinary practice. We value each one of our employees and their individual goals and strive to maintain a drama-free work environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person </li><li>Schedule appointments </li><li>Assist with the check in and check out process and verify patient information for appointments and procedures </li><li>Maintain patient records and client information </li><li>Process payments and handle billing inquiries </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment </li><li>Create reports and reminders for patients </li><li>Prepares health certificates, immunization certificates, lab reports, and euthanasia certificates </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have previous veterinary medicine experience, preferably as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and work well under pressure </li><li>Basic computer proficiency </li><li>Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, and walking throughout the day </li><li>Outstanding team skills </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k match </li><li>Pet care discounts </li><li>Perks at Work </li><li>Paid Bereavement </li></ul>
