<p>We are seeking flexible and dynamic Substitute Teachers to join CCSP (K-8) for the 24-25 SY. The ideal candidates will provide effective classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring the continued delivery of the curriculum.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities & Outcomes</p> <ul> <li> <p>Implement lesson plans as directed by the regular classroom teacher.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and supportive learning environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide instruction in a variety of subjects or specializations as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.</p> </li><li> <p>Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Report any incidents or issues to the school administration.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid teaching credential or substitute teaching permit (as required by the state oof NJ).</p> </li><li> <p>Previous teaching experience is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage a classroom and engage students.</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to different classroom settings.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>In addition to a competitive salary, CCSP offers a full comprehensive benefits plan.</p> <p>The Community Charter School of Paterson is an equal-opportunity employer.</p>
