Includes, but is not limited, to managing issue resolution, vendor statement analysis,</p> <p>disbursements, and GR/IR analysis (Goods Received/Invoice Received). Functions as a team member within the</p> <p>department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.</p> <p>Major Functional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management </li></ul> <p>and problem resolution.</p> <ul> <li>Directs activities of teams responsible for Accounts Payable. </li><li>Fosters a strong customer service relationship with the OpCo staff, Corporate and vendors in the shared </li></ul> <p>service environment.</p> <ul> <li>Manage and monitor Accounts Payable workflow queues. </li><li>Perform and/or review complex accounting reconciliation and analysis. </li><li>Ensure relevant AP metrics are achieved or exceeded. </li><li>Execute and monitor key metrics to measure departmental performance. </li><li>Plan and direct process improvement initiatives. </li><li>Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and efficient use of resources. </li><li>Effectively lead team(s) through change. </li><li>Ensure transactions are performed within a sound internal control environment. </li><li>Perform financial analysis, various ad hoc reports, conduct analyzes, and complete special projects as </li></ul> <p>required.</p> <ul> <li>Recommend and ensure adherence to accounting policies. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA) are a plus.</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of leadership experience in Accounts Payable or related finance operations within a shared services or large-scale organization. </li><li>Proven experience with process improvement, system implementations, and automation within a financial environment. </li><li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems such as SAP. </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Accounts Payable experience within a highly automated environment. </li><li>Knowledge, expertise or significant exposure to a major ERP application (i.e., SAP, Oracle, Lawson, </li></ul> <p>PeopleSoft, etc.)</p> <ul> <li>Supervisory experience required / supervisory experience in Accounts Payable in a shared service or high </li></ul> <p>transactional volume environment preferred</p> <ul> <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) </li></ul>
