<p>Location: Building Envelope - Rockland, MA</p> <p>Job Req ID: 14526</p> <p>Join our amazing team and contribute as a:</p> <p>Controls Engineer</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>Support controls system design and development for the controls systems in ACS manufacturing sites.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH</p> <ul> <li>Develop and document standards for controls systems. </li><li>Define scope and requirements for new controls projects. </li><li>Assess existing systems and prepare plans for improvements. </li><li>Troubleshoot controls related breakdowns and lead resolution activities. </li><li>Manage external contractors to ensure adequate on site support is in place and effective. </li><li>Ensure electrical schematics are maintained as changes are made. </li><li>Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans. </li><li>Perform instrumentation troubleshooting and rebuilding. </li><li>Develop and implement controls and instrumentation maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance (PM) procedures for controls hardware. </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <ul> <li>Experience with PLC programming in an Allen Bradley environment, both writing logic for new installation and troubleshooting existing code. </li><li>History of working with a variety of drives, flow controllers, weighing systems, proximity sensors, position sensors, and similar field devices. </li><li>Strong knowledge of PLC networking, OT networking, Remote IO, etc. </li><li>Design and development experience for controls systems in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Experience reading electrical diagrams and troubleshooting in the field. </li><li>4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Experience with batch operations and control systems. </li><li>Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. </li><li>Experience in developing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for operator interaction. </li><li>Familiarity with databases for data logging and reporting in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP. </li><li>Experience using version control systems for PLC code and other control system software. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. </li><li>Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Office located in manufacturing plant (Rockland, MA). </li><li>In the field includes outdoors and inside manufacturing plants to troubleshoot instrumentation, access controls panels, etc. </li><li>Travel required to manufacturing locations as needed, approximately 30%. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE OFFER</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation - the starting salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000, depending on experience and qualifications. </li><li>Retirement Savings </li><li>Medical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance Coverage </li><li>Holistic Health & Well-Being Programs </li><li>Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for </li><li>Health and Dependent Care </li><li>Vision and other Voluntary Benefits and Discounts </li><li>Paid Time Off and Holidays </li><li>Paid Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity) </li><li>Educational Assistance Program </li></ul> <p>#BuildingEnvelope</p> <p>Did we spark your interest?
