Discover endless opportunities to grow and make your mark at Hines.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>As a Management Services Summer Intern with Hines, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Work effectively with all divisions of your assigned projects and teams </li><li>Bring potential property-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party </li><li>Engage in a preview of all facets of Property Management and/or Facilities Management including an introduction to building operations, engineering, construction management, accounting and leasing </li><li>Serve as a member of various project teams as required to facilitate company needs </li><li>Gain a comprehensive overview of practical, client facing Property or Facilities Management experience </li><li>Obtain a general understanding of a career in the Commercial and Residential Real Estate industry through first-hand experience, shadowing and project-based work </li><li>Complete a project aimed to address an existing issue within the local Hines portfolio. This project will require critical thinking and collaboration with peers </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Students from any academic discipline will be considered; however, a strong interest in real estate/business is required</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint</p> </li><li> <p>Basic oral and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to travel to job sites</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter with the ability to manage his/her time, resources and coordinate multiple projects</p> </li><li> <p>Interpersonal and relationship building ability</p> </li><li> <p>Current Sophomores and Juniors will be considered</p> </li><li> <p>Compensation: $23/hr - $28/hr, dependent upon geography</p> </li></ul> <p>Closing</p> <p>At Hines, we strive for excellence as a leading global real estate investment manager, driven by our by our belief that real estate is fundamentally about people.
