<p>Lakeland University, an independent liberal arts institution located in Plymouth, Wisconsin wishes to hire for an open Graduate Assistant position on our Football team to start this Fall 2025.</p> <p>The Football GA will assist the Head Coach with promoting the football program, recruiting, organizing and running practices, competition coaching, fundraising, promotional activities, and other related assigned responsibilities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>A successful candidate will be a positive role model to our student-athletes on and off the football field, exhibit strong leadership, and strive to develop those leadership capabilities within our student-athletes.</p> <p>Responsibilities also include:</p> <ul> <li>Monitoring and assisting student-athletes with academic success </li><li>Effectively recruiting quality student-athletes </li><li>Assisting the head coach with any/all aspects of the program </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and acceptance into the Lakeland University graduate school program are required. </li><li>Football experience and/or coaching experience is required. </li><li>Must have an acceptable driving record. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions is required </li><li>Demonstrate ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality; </li><li>Ability to effectively manage time and priorities; </li><li>Ability to prioritize office workflow and make effective administrative decisions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity; </li><li>Demonstrated ability to tactfully and effectively communicate (written and verbal) with a variety of individuals; </li><li>Strong critical thinking skills; </li><li>Demonstrates organizational ability, and attention to detail and accuracy; </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment ; </li><li>Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Moderate to strenuous physical activity is part of the position.
