<p>Job Title: Part Time Rink Attendant - Public Skating & Events</p> <p>Location: Daly Ice Rink - Newton Massachusetts</p> <p>Type: Seasonal / Part-Time</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>Edge Sports Global is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team for the upcoming skating season! As a Rink Attendant, at The Daly Ice Rink you'll be the welcoming face of the facility-overseeing public skating sessions, private rentals, and special events. You'll help ensure a safe, fun, and well-organized environment for guests of all ages.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee attendance, safety, and crowd control during public skating sessions and private events. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service-greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with phone inquiries. </li><li>Operate a cashless point-of-sale register for concessions and skate rentals. </li><li>Rent, fit, and maintain rental skates, including skate sharpening. (Training provided) </li><li>Enforce rink rules and ensure guest compliance in a friendly but professional manner. </li><li>Assist with concession stand operations (snacks, drinks, etc.). </li><li>Keep the facility clean, organized, and presentable at all times. </li><li>Support event setup and breakdown as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. </li><li>Comfortable interacting with the public and handling customer concerns. </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Reliable and punctual with strong attention to safety. </li><li>Previous experience in customer service, recreation, or hospitality is a plus. </li><li>Ability to skate is helpful but not required (training provided). </li></ul> <p>Additional Details:</p> <ul> <li>This is a seasonal position. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. </li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. </li><li>This is a cashless facility-while you won't handle cash, comfort with registers and digital payment systems is required. </li></ul>
