This is your chance to shape your future - and help protect societies from the world's most complex risks.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Manage a portfolio of claims from first notification through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate processing. </li><li>Analyze policy terms and conditions to determine coverage applicability. </li><li>Conduct investigations, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and assess loss severity and liability. </li><li>Develop and implement appropriate claim resolution strategies, including negotiation and settlement. </li><li>Partner with underwriting, legal, finance, and external partners to ensure coordinated claims handling. </li><li>Maintain accurate claim files and contribute to internal reporting and analytics. </li><li>Engage in training programs and professional development initiatives to build expertise across all lines of business. </li></ul> <p>About the Team</p> <p>You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing and resolving claims both domestically and internationally across multiple lines of business, including: Accident & Health, Credit and Surety, Financial Lines, and Property. Our team comprises over 80 professionals, including claims handlers and management, primarily located in Kansas City, MO; New York, NY; Chicago and Schaumburg, IL and Windsor, CT.</p> <p>About You</p> <p>This role is designed for early-career professionals with a maximum of three years of prior relevant full-time work experience. We are looking for people who want to make a difference!</p> <p>We're looking for candidates who bring:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's or Master's degree (in in Business, Finance, Pre-Law, Risk Management, or related fields) between 2024-2026, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 </li><li>Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities </li><li>High attention to details with strong organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively </li><li>A genuine interest in insurance, risk management, and corporate finance </li><li>Proven customer service skills </li><li>Willingness to obtain necessary adjuster licensing, if required </li></ul> <p>The base salary for this role is $70,000. Candidates with advanced degrees may be eligible for a higher base compensation.
