Do you have a knack for building curriculum that connects academic rigor with real-world impact? Bismarck State College is looking for a Health Administration Curriculum Developer to help design and develop coursework for our Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Health Administration program. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact by developing dynamic, industry-aligned curriculum that prepares students to lead in the ever-evolving field of health administration.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>As our Health Administration Curriculum Developer, you'll play a central role in building a top-tier academic pathway. Your work will directly support students in gaining the essential knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the healthcare sector. You will:</p> <ul> <li>Identify core competencies for health administrators, including key knowledge areas, skills, and industry-recognized credentials. </li><li>Design detailed course outlines and descriptions, incorporating potential lecture and lab requirements to support hands-on and experiential learning. </li><li>Develop curriculum and lab exercises across 200, 300, and 400-level courses in the Health Administration BAS program. </li><li>Collaborate with academic leaders and industry professionals to ensure the curriculum reflects current and future trends in healthcare leadership. </li><li>Maintain strong professional relationships with faculty, staff, students, and industry stakeholders. </li><li>Contribute to additional tasks as needed to support the success of the program and institution. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. </li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects. </li><li>Ability to work independently and handle interruptions. </li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse personalities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with curriculum and course development. </li><li>Experience working with Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems. </li><li>Experience in post-secondary teaching. </li><li>Substantial industry experience </li></ul> <p>Applicant Materials Required:</p> <p>To be considered by the search committee thoroughly complete the application and upload the following:</p> <ul> <li>Cover Letter </li><li>Resume </li><li>Copies of transcripts (undergraduate and graduate). </li><li>References </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
