We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>We have an immediate opening for Production General Laborers - Line 5 (2nd Shift) on our pizza production line. This position is located in our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing facility.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for effective continuous operation and change-over of pizza production line. </li><li>Must be versatile to work between the crust and boxing end of the production line which may include laying pizza crust on the line, stacking pizzas and/or packing pizzas in boxes. </li><li>Be able to keep track of inventories, counts of ingredients, and finished products. </li><li>Check and communicate code dates to other workers. </li><li>Timely notification to Maintenance and Supervision of equipment problems. </li><li>Notify Supervision of actual or potential problems. </li><li>Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervision. </li><li>Responsible for complying with GMP's, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area. </li><li>Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. regularly and handle wood pallets up to 70lbs. occasionally. </li><li>Be able to rotate to various jobs on Pizza line which may include frequent bending, twisting, lifting. </li><li>Other duties as may be assigned by Management or volunteered for. </li><li>Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per day </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow instructions and techniques. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Standard Manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to hot/cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts and power industrial trucks</p> </li><li> <p>Requires 100% onsite attendance to perform the essential functions of the role.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The following information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Compensation is based on experience, geographic locations, and other legally permitted factors. The starting hourly rate is $17.25.
