<p>Summary:</p> <p>This role is responsible for providing day to day engineering and technical support to ensure consistent process performance, high quality data collection, and effective trial execution. This role troubleshooting issues, conducting material testing and measurement studies, and coordinated internal and external testing activities.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Support engineering by providing technical assistance and solutions when problems are encountered in manufacturing or during trials. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with R&D, Tech Service, Engineering to conduct trial sample testing and data collection for customers. </li><li>Provide technical guidance during production trials and assist in resolving material or process-related challenges. </li><li>Improve testing procedures and document best practices. Perform training as needed. </li><li>Conduct and participate in measurement variation and alignment studies. Serve as backup support for quality lab and calibration activities as needed </li><li>Ensure that the labs have the appropriate inventory of consumable items. Procure as needed. </li><li>Provide onsite support during visits or audits from third party testing vendors. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education </li><li>2+ years of engineering or technical experience </li><li>Hands-on material testing experience </li></ul>
