<p>Senior Platform Engineer - Private Cloud Infrastructure</p> <p>Wilmington, DE</p> <p>Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm</p> <p>Remote</p> <p>CSC is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Nutanix, AHV, and HPE infrastructure to help drive the evolution of our global private cloud platform. You'll join a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering a secure, scalable, and automated self-service infrastructure for our global Application Development teams.</p> <p>In today's hybrid-cloud, DevOps-driven environment, we need individuals who can not only operate core infrastructure platforms but also contribute to the automation that powers modern private cloud delivery. You will work closely with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)-like operations team and participate in a Tier 3 on-call support rotation.</p> <p>We're on an exciting journey toward full infrastructure automation-and we're looking for someone who wants to help lead the way.</p> <p>Some of the things you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and automate infrastructure with a focus on self-healing, resilience, and incident response</p> </li><li> <p>Develop automated, self-service solutions for provisioning and managing private cloud services</p> </li><li> <p>Write and maintain clear technical documentation including system configurations, procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles</p> </li><li> <p>Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot our core infrastructure platforms: Nutanix, AHV, HPE, and VMware (legacy)</p> </li><li> <p>Provide engineering expertise and Tier 3 support for enterprise infrastructure systems</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with peers to identify infrastructure gaps and opportunities for improvement through automation</p> </li></ul> <p>What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</p> </li><li> <p>Strong customer-first mindset with a commitment to service excellence</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic thinker who proactively plans rather than reacts</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of hands-on experience with the Nutanix platform and HPE infrastructure</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years in core infrastructure management, including environments like RHEL, Windows, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Elastic</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with infrastructure automation tools and scripting languages such as:</p> </li><li> <p>Ansible Tower</p> </li><li> <p>PowerShell, Python, or YAML</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience</p> </li><li> <p>Passion for continuous learning through certifications, vendor training, and hands-on experimentation</p> </li></ul> <p>#CSC #CSCCareers #LI-AM1</p>
