<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Performs and demonstrates competency, proficiency and understanding of the test procedures in the Clinical Laboratory up to and including high complexity testing.</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or Microbiology - Required </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Additional Experience Requirements:</p> <p>If no B.S Degree in the above areas, must have a Bachelor's Degree with specific completed course requirements outlined below:</p> <ul> <li> <p>16 semester or equivalent quarter units of chemistry, which must include clinical chemistry or analytical and biochemistry.</p> </li><li> <p>18 semester or equivalent quarter units of biology, which must include hematology, immunology, and medical microbiology.</p> </li><li> <p>3 semester or equivalent quarter units of physics (light and electricity).</p> </li></ul> <p>Certifications/Licensures:</p> <ul> <li> <p>CLS Clinical Lab Scientist (MTA) - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service or</p> </li><li> <p>Clinical Microbiologist Scientist - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service - Required</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>08.0 - 22:30 - 07:00 No Waive (United States of America)</p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$62.53 - $84.40</p> <p>Hourly</p> <p>Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.</p> <p>Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.</p> <p>Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
