<p>Aqua Finance is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Learning & Development Intern to support key learning and development initiatives that elevate leadership capabilities and enhance organizational effectiveness. This internship offers hands-on experience developing Learning & Development content, building onboarding and learning programs, and supporting strategic OD projects that impact employees across the company.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and implementation of assigned HR, OD, and People Operations initiatives. Examples of initiatives include: </li><li>Assist in the design, development, and refresh of Annual People Leader Training content, including research on training best practices, drafting training materials, and helping prepare facilitator resources. </li><li>Partner with the HR Intern to co-create the New People Leader Onboarding Plan, contributing to learning content, sequencing, program structure, and supporting materials. </li><li>Build content for our employee development program, Next Level Learning, and assemble content (videos, guides, microlearning modules, templates, etc.) that support leadership capability building and ongoing OD initiatives. </li><li>Support the deployment of learning and development programs, including scheduling, communication support, content organization, and evaluation activities. </li><li>Conduct research on OD and learn best practices to inform new content and program enhancements. </li><li>Assist with additional organizational development projects related to change management, competency development, learning pathways, or employee engagement initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Required Education And Experience</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled at a University or College, with a minimum of Junior Undergraduate Status </li><li>Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Business, or a related field </li><li>Completion of relevant Human Resources and/or Organizational Development coursework prior to the start of the internship </li><li>Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Internship will run from mid-May through mid-August </li><li>Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during the internship period </li><li>Availability to participate in at least 9 weeks of the 12-week program </li><li>This is an on-site internship; interns will be required to work at our corporate location in Wausau, WI, for the duration of the internship. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience designing and delivering learning and development content in a corporate environment. </li><li>Exposure to organizational development concepts, learning program design, and leadership development strategy. </li><li>Mentorship and professional development opportunities through collaboration with experienced HR and OD professionals. </li><li>Opportunities to build your professional network and gain experience that strengthens your future HR/OD career path. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly uses a computer and may be required to sit, stand, walk, see, communicate, and handle or manipulate objects or controls. The role involves extended periods of working at a computer and may require occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 20 pounds.</p> <p>This is primarily an office-based position with a significant portion of the work performed at a computer.</p>
