<p>Corporate Sales Manager</p> <p>InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco</p> <p>Sales & Marketing Department | Hourly | Full-Time</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for generating corporate transient revenue through proactive solicitation, strategic account management, and cultivating strong client relationships. This role focuses on securing volume accounts, negotiating corporate rate agreements and RFPs, and maximizing exposure of the InterContinental Mark Hopkins within key business markets.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Actively solicit, qualify, and secure new corporate volume accounts to achieve or exceed revenue goals. </li><li>Manage existing corporate accounts through regular communication, site inspections, presentations, and entertainment. </li><li>Own the RFP process and respond in a timely and thorough manner. </li><li>Prepare individual proposals for corporate clients. </li><li>Develop and maintain detailed account records, traces, and activities within Delphi and CRM systems. </li><li>Maximize revenue by promoting all facets of the hotel through written and verbal communication. </li><li>Conduct site inspections, off-site presentations, and sales trips to key accounts. </li><li>Participate in trade shows, community events, and industry meetings. </li><li>Organize and host FAM trips for major corporate clients. </li><li>Communicate effectively across departments to ensure seamless service delivery. </li><li>Support joint selling initiatives with Group and Catering teams. </li><li>Provide market condition and competitive landscape feedback. </li><li>Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of client and hotel data. </li><li>Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, services, and local attractions. </li><li>Complete Lost Business Reports and ensure follow-up actions. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent hospitality sales experience. </li><li>2+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably in corporate or business travel segments. </li><li>Understanding of corporate market trends and Bay Area business drivers. </li><li>Proficiency in Opera, Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Delphi. </li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. </li><li>Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, attention to detail, and takes action with sense of urgency. </li><li>Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering elevated service. </li><li>Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Results-driven, adaptable, and comfortable navigating changing environments. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Regular attendance and schedule flexibility required based on business demands. </li><li>Ability to conduct site tours, sales calls, and occasional evening or weekend work. </li><li>Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed. </li></ul> <p>Pay : $33-36/hr</p>
