<p>Overview</p> <p>This role is based in [Washington, D.C. or Purchase, NY] and will report to the Senior Director of Public Policy. This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of programs and strategies to enhance PepsiCo's global policy standing, and helping achieve the company's health and wellness-related Public Policy and Government Affairs objectives, with a key focus in the areas of responsible marketing and portfolio transformation.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the development and implementation of comprehensive issue advocacy campaigns and management strategies on key health and wellness policies globally.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide critical policy support on health and wellness issues to in-market government affairs teams and cross-functional colleagues, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Tracking and coordinating health and wellness public policy developments in priority geographic areas;</p> </li><li> <p>Designing and producing summaries, reports, risk maps, memos and PowerPoint presentations;</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating key trends and insights.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the company externally in industry associations and other forums on priority policy issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Carry out strategies and actions with the highest level of integrity and ethics.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strong relationships and internal coordination with the Nutrition Science, Communications, Marketing, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Foundation, and Legal functions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850. </li><li>Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. </li><li>Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually. </li><li>Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. </li><li>In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; masters in health/nutrition policy and/or combination of related degree(s) and experience preferred. </li><li>Minimum 3 - 5 years professional experience conducting research and analysis and making informed recommendations required. Global policy experience desirable. </li><li>Experience in nutrition and sustainability policy and regulation preferred. </li><li>Foreign language skills welcome </li><li>Creative and strategic thinker with strong communication and analytical skills, both written and verbal required. </li><li>Demonstrated experience developing summaries, reports, or presentations synthesizing complex information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required. </li><li>Excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience leading projects to completion while prioritizing daily accountability required. </li><li>Hands-on team player must be willing to take part in the execution and work collaboratively to achieve excellent results. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate with internal and external audiences. </li><li>Highly proactive and able to navigate ambiguity and complexity while developing successful solutions </li><li>Strong relationship building skills and ability to thrive within a rapidly changing environment. </li><li>Works well under pressure with an ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. </li><li>Strong organizational skills, ability to focus both on detail and the larger picture. </li><li>Exhibits a high level of critical/strategic thinking.
