Be a part of a team that prides itself in making a difference for Californians.</p> <p>What will be the difference that you make for California?</p> <p>Under the direction of the Principal Safety Engineer (Elevators) with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Elevator Unit, the Senior Safety Engineer (Elevators) develops and researches Elevator Safety Orders (ESO), evaluate variance application, approve control configuration and device approval, provide Unit training and assist the Principal Safety Engineer and Senior Safety Engineers with the hiring process. The Senior Safety Engineer (Elevators) ensures that the office functions and operates daily in accordance with Elevator Unit Policy and Procedures, DIR-DOSH directives, rules and policies.</p> <ul> <li>There is one(1) position to be filled in either Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, or Sacramento.
