<p>Overview</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The associate chaplain projects God's love by providing pastoral care to patients, families and colleagues</p> <p>through routine and/or referral visitation, crisis and bereavement care, support activities, educational</p> <p>events, and worship services. These services are provdided during the staff member's assigned shift and</p> <p>on-call rotations for nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Staff members are subject to recall as</p> <p>needed. The position is under the general supervision and direction of the director of Pastoral Care.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides pastoral care through routine and/or referral visitation. </li><li>Provides crisis and bereavement care during times of deaths, codes, and other emergencies. </li><li>Provides pastoral care as appropriate for a special shift or assignment </li><li>Completes assigned goals. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Minimum Required</p> <p>1 year experience in providing</p> <p>pastoral care through work in a</p> <p>church, previous service as a</p> <p>volunteer chaplain, or other</p> <p>related ministries.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Minimum Required</p> <p>Preferred/Desired</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an</p> <p>accredited college/university</p> <p>preferably including coursework</p> <p>in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Care,</p> <p>Psychology, Counseling, or</p> <p>Social Work.</p> <p>Licensure</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Minimum Required</p> <p>Preferred/Desired</p> <p>DRIVER'S LICENSE</p> <p>(CURRENT)</p>
