<p>Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our dynamic team, handling inbound phone calls and inputting data. The role involves receiving, reviewing, and verifying patient prescriptions, as well as prepping and scanning documents and entering prescription orders into the pharmacy data system.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Verify HIPAA information and maintain confidentiality when speaking to patients and providers. </li><li>Engage in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing upset patients or providers as needed. </li><li>Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to ensure patient and provider needs are met in a timely manner. </li><li>Coordinate with call center Hub programs as applicable. </li><li>Coordinate the order and enter prescriptions based on their urgency through the pharmacy processing system. </li><li>Maintain professionalism and document within processing systems in accordance with policies and procedures. </li><li>Efficiently enter data and information into the pharmacy processing system. </li><li>Prioritize and organize work to meet agreed-upon deadlines. </li><li>Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system accurately and efficiently. </li><li>Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Data entry skills. </li><li>Pharmacy Technician license with the Board of Pharmacy (certified in the state of Florida) </li><li>Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite. </li><li>Knowledge of prescriptions and customer service skills. </li><li>Experience in a call center and retail pharmacy settings. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is fully remote. The equipment provided, including a laptop and headset. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts potentially falling between 10 am and 6:30 pm EST and may change based on business needs.
