<p>A Chick-fil-A Breading Team role involves hand-fileting and breading chicken to Chick-fil-A standards in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Responsibilities include setting up the breading table, preparing the milk wash, stocking ingredients, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, and ensuring product quality and consistency during busy periods. The role requires working well under pressure while adhering to food safety standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Food Preparation: Fileting and hand-breading chicken pieces according to standardized recipes and procedures. </li><li>Station Setup & Maintenance: Setting up the breading table, preparing the milk wash, and keeping the workstation clean, organized, and sanitary. </li><li>Inventory Management: Stocking thawing cabinets and the breading table using the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and prevent waste. </li><li>Quality Control: Ensuring all breaded products meet Chick-fil-A's quality and consistency standards, and monitoring ingredient quality. </li><li>Efficiency During Peak Hours: Serving as the primary person responsible for breading chicken during busy breakfast and lunchtimes to meet demand. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Efficiency and Speed: Capacity to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours. </li><li>Attention to Detail: Commitment to food safety, hygiene, and maintaining high-quality standards. </li><li>Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and leads. </li><li>Adaptability: Willingness to learn quickly, follow instructions, and adapt to changes or new products. </li><li>Positive Attitude: A coachable and positive demeanor is highly valued. </li></ul> <p>General Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards </li><li>Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times </li><li>Setting up Breading Table by Chick-fil-A Standards </li><li>Preparing Milk Wash everyday </li><li>Fileting and Breading Chicken in accordance with Lean Fileting and Lean Cooking </li><li>Be the main person breading chicken during peak times </li><li>Stocking Thawing Cabinets, and Breading Table using First In, First Out method </li><li>Duties are not limited to the above tasks </li></ul> <p>Schedule Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Available to work Monday through Saturday </li><li>Must work at least 40 hours a week. </li><li>Able to work as early as 6:00 am & late as 11 pm </li><li>Must be able to close at least 4 nights a week </li></ul> <p>Important Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 or older </li><li>Be able to communicate with co-workers and leads effectively </li><li>Stand for long periods of time </li><li>Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 45 lbs </li><li>Requires filleting and hand breading of product </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Ability to learn quickly </li><li>Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed </li><li>Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace-hustle is a must! </li><li>Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic </li><li>Positive attitude, coachable </li><li>Checking for product quality and consistency </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
