As a Manager you are the person in charge of the daily operations of Chick-fil-A. You are responsible for leading a team of other leaders and team members who will ensure our guests receive the quality food and industry leading customer service that has come to be synonymous with the Chick-fil-A brand. Managers demonstrate and execute the fundamentals of the Chick-fil-A brand including our CORE 4 model, Winning Hearts Every Day Strategy, Industry Leading Food Safety Processes, and so much more. As a Manager you will also have an opportunity to grow within the company. Leadership Development is a core part of our business strategy, and you will have the opportunity to engage with the Operator on your own personal journey as a developing professional.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MUST HAVE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE.</p> <ul> <li>3+ Years of Experience as a leader. (Chick-fil-A Experience Preferred) </li><li>Self-lead individual that is committed to personal growth. </li><li>Willingness to step outside of the job role to assist in other roles. </li><li>Effective and professional communicator. </li><li>Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs. </li><li>Proven ability to lead in quick-paced environments as part of a team. </li><li>Basic computer competency. </li><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate. </li><li>Must be comfortable using a POS system and other ordering technology. </li><li>Must be comfortable using various pieces of cooking and service equipment. </li><li>Ability to multitask without direction. </li><li>Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to work outside for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient pace. </li><li>Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic. </li><li>Positive attitude. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and leadership. </li><li>Customer Service-Oriented. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Operator and senior leadership to achieve excellence in the area you are responsible for. </li><li>Track and report on the key metrics in your area of responsibility. </li><li>Develop and execute plans to continuously improve your area of responsibility. </li><li>Resolve employee performance and policy/procedure violations discovered or reported by the Leadership Team. </li><li>Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels. </li><li>Must be an excellent coach, communicator and team builder. </li><li>Achieve Strategic business results through focus and action on Monthly and Quarterly objectives and tasks. </li><li>Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback. </li><li>Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks and processes. </li><li>Responsible for inventory & facilities management. </li><li>Complete understanding of each key position in their area of responsibility. </li><li>Use our CORE 4 model to serve guests: create eye contact, share a smile, speak with an enthusiastic tone, and always say my pleasure. </li><li>Operating the POS system and other order taking technology at the front counter, in the drive-thru cockpit, or outside in the drive-thru. </li><li>Operating various pieces of cooking and service equipment. </li><li>Look for opportunities to stock or clean when not serving a customer. </li><li>Following the proper process for the position you are assigned. </li><li>Checking for product quality and consistency. </li><li>Assist leadership in executing opening or closing procedures. </li><li>Assisting in all team member positions throughout your shift as needed. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items. </li><li>Complete all tasks assigned beyond the job description, if necessary. </li><li>Complete all tasks assigned to you by the leadership team. </li></ul> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate Team Member performance and policy/procedure violations of Production Team Members to the Leadership Team. </li><li>Work with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels for Production Team Members. </li><li>Ensure that the shifts are running smoothly in the kitchen. </li><li>Train new Kitchen Team Members and Leaders and follow up to ensure they're equipped for success. </li><li>ERQA and Daily Safe Performance. </li><li>Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks for the kitchen. </li><li>Oversee waste reduction and tracking. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness for Kitchen- backstage tour ready. </li><li>Responsible for Food Safety score. </li><li>Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all individuals with respect while handling coaching conversations and providing them with direction and feedback. </li><li>Serve as subject matter expert to leadership for ongoing kitchen support. </li><li>Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store. </li><li>Serve as a Mentor and Coach. </li><li>Responsible for inventory and facility management </li></ul> <p>Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
