The coordinator is organized and adept at problem solving. A solid understanding of logistical operations is important for success.</p> <p>Typical Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure safety practices and procedures are adhered to at all times </li><li>Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations for branch's fleet and CDL drivers </li><li>Manage all CDL drivers and yard personnel, coordinate and plan transportation, shipping and delivery schedules for on-going projects </li><li>Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective logistical operations </li><li>Oversee branch shipping and receiving practices </li><li>Enforce company policies and procedures with regard to logistics, inventory and fleet management </li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies </li><li>Provide timely updates on shipment status to stakeholders </li><li>Address inquiries and concerns from customers and branches </li><li>Implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement </li><li>Identify opportunities for cost savings in transportation and logistics operations </li><li>Ensure necessary shipping documents and permits are precured when required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent experience </li><li>Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes </li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities </li><li>Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Attention to detail and problem-solving skills </li><li>This job has specific DOT requirements.
