They will greet as well as assist patients and visitors at hospitals and clinics as directed. </li><li>Transport patients from their rooms to various locations. </li><li>Retrieve the proper equipment needed for the transport of patients. </li><li>Complete daily paperwork documenting activity. </li><li>Maintain a safe, healthy working environment. </li><li>Provide emotional support to patients and their families by listening to them and showing compassion. </li><li>Perform all other duties assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Physically able to transport patients by wheelchairs, stretchers, and/or beds </li><li>Ability to work independently utilizing a beeper </li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time </li><li>Heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting are required (50 lbs or more) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.</p>
