<p>Details:</p> <p>Job Title: Accounting Coordinator</p> <p>Location: St. Louis, MO</p> <p>Zip Code: 63102</p> <p>Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Job Type: Contract</p> <p>Keywords: #AccountingJobs #MOjobs</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Distribute locally printed and special handling check payments and related communications </li><li>Follow-up with vendors and document due-diligence of outstanding and stale-dated check payments </li><li>Post GRIR clearings as assigned </li><li>Review and resolve GRIR balances as assigned </li><li>Review and approve/deny payment date change requests </li><li>Research and resolve outstanding credit memos </li><li>Review Parked/Blocked invoices (reporting and follow-up as needed) </li><li>Research and resolve vendor invoice/payment issues </li><li>Help resolve ACH rejections and check payment issues </li><li>Perform period end close requirements </li><li>Assist with 1099 data collection, review, and submission </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Education: HS diploma; some college coursework preferred </li><li>Experience with accounting in an office environment </li><li>Experience level: 1 - 2 years of related experience </li><li>Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and VLookup); </li><li>Ability to collaborate with other individuals and work teams; effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Prefer someone with ERP experience; SAP experience would be a plus </li><li>Proficient in Outlook and MS Word </li><li>Can work independently but also work with others as issues arise </li><li>Good math skills and detail-oriented </li><li>Comfortable with repetitive work but can spot issues and trends and resolve them </li><li>Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets in the workplace, as there are several dogs present on a regular basis </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
