<p>Part Time Substitute Cafeteria Worker JobID: 3795</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support Staff</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/4/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District-Wide ALL Locations</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Food Service - Substitute Daily Aide</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Director and building Principal, to assist in food preparation, serving lines, clean-up and maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere in the cafeteria</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assists in food preparation </li><li>Assists in line service setup, break down, clean-up </li><li>Assists in making sure that counters, food prep station, tables and surrounding areas are clean. </li><li>Assists in serving meals during breakfast and/or lunch mealtimes </li><li>Assists students with orderly food purchases, distribution of food, disposal of food waste, and return of trays and utensils. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties</p> <ul> <li>Re-stocking food items from cold/warm storage locations </li><li>May collect count and deposit food services program monies. </li><li>Performs other related tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Note: The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:</p> <p>High School Diploma/GED</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Successful prior experience working in a food service industry, preferably in a school district or with children. </li></ul> <p>Hourly Employee $19.00 per hour.</p>
