<p>Position: Operations (Tech) | Level 2 (USD)</p> <p>Location: New York, New York</p> <p>Duration: Contract</p> <p>Job ID: 168278</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Operations (Tech) | Level 2 role is a critical position within the Executive Service Team, dedicated to providing top-tier technology support to senior executives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities. The candidate will act as a trusted technology advisor, ensuring seamless technology experiences for senior management while maintaining a focus on security and innovation.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues for senior executives (VIPs). </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop technologies and mobile devices (both personal and firm-issued). </li><li>Coordinate technology services, including procurement, multimedia, mobile, and telephony support. </li><li>Handle non-standard technology requests and provide home support visits as needed. </li><li>Support quarterly board meetings for Executives and Directors. </li><li>Collaborate with global IT service teams to ensure seamless support for senior managers. </li><li>Communicate scheduled outages, system upgrades, and new application deployments to executives. </li><li>Proactively monitor all technology used by executives to ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Provide off-hours remote support for technical issues as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of experience in the technology service space. </li><li>Proven experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment, preferably in financial services. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Blackberry Work, iOS devices, Intune, and Mobile Iron. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Required Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Windows Desktop (Windows 10/11). </li><li>Active Directory skills. </li><li>PowerShell scripting skills. </li><li>Experience with tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Extrahop, and Sysinternal tools. </li><li>Telephony expertise. </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid work model with up to 4 days a week on-site in the New York office (may increase to 5 days depending on events). </li><li>Occasional travel to the Westchester office may be required. </li><li>Potential for conversion to a permanent role. </li></ul> <p>About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
