<p>Description</p> <p>Capital Markets Specialist</p> <p>Huntington is seeking a Capital Markets Specialist to join our Consumer Finance Secondary Marketing Trading team. This individual will participate in the mortgage salable pipeline risk mitigation, pricing, and loan pooling in a strong team-oriented working environment.</p> <p>Perform quantitative risk management analysis to identify and hedge risks associated with market interest rates on the secondary marketing salable mortgage pipeline. Thrive in a dynamic team of mortgage banking professionals handling multiple tasks simultaneously.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform pipeline hedging analysis informed by market value simulation and profit/loss sensitivity to changes in interest rates </li><li>Participate in the monthly cash and MBS pooling process from a trade team perspective </li><li>Perform mortgage pipeline data driven analysis and reporting to inform decision making on profitability and income generation </li><li>Assist in the daily bulk bid mandatory loan acquisition through the third-party channel </li><li>Perform comparative mortgage and home equity origination data analysis </li></ul> <p>Basic qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as finance/economics or STEM </li><li>At least 1 year of experience in finance analytics </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a regulated financial institution </li><li>Exposure to mortgage banking concepts </li><li>Experience using QRM, Power BI, SQL, Python, etc. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders verbally and in writing, to include technical topics distilled for non-technical audience </li></ul> <p>#LI-NA1</p> <p>Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Workplace Type:</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Our Approach to Office Workplace Type</p> <p>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
